Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your journey as a mother?

I can't believe it's been a year since I received the worst news anyone could hear. "You have CANCER" I was stunned when I heard the news and unable to process what was said afterward. After the initial shock, it is important to learn about what comes next. After leaving the clinic, I realized I was crying like a little baby while hugging my husband. The moment under emotional stress of any kind. I faced uncertainty about my future, not knowing if the cancer had spread throughout my body as I waited for scans and numerous tests.

It's been a year filled with difficult conditions that requires effort and determination. Surgery of my right breast (full removal), I undergo sessions of Chemotheraphy and face countless trip to hospitals, specialists appointments, scans and daily pills. Throughout it all, I had to put on a BRAVE face while deep down, I was often scared.

In this battle, I've found faith in the midst of adversity. I've learned so much about myself and what truly matters in life. Seeing light in the end of the tunnel. Value life and never take it for granted. I feel incredibly fortunate to still be here today. This experience to enlightened me to become possible in ways to motivate others instead of leaving them rejected as a person. I'm optimistic to live my life to the fullest.

What role has PMU played in your journey as a mother and pursuing your aspirations? I slowly navigated to be a person being a mother. My daughters are my strength, they inspires and motivates me to grow without any barriers. Thank you PMU for giving me friends to share with my SMALL and BIG wins!!!

Anything you would like to share to fellow mums:

Always an inspiration to your loved ones, family and friends.

People will look at me as a strong-willed person but I have my weakness too. I just have my determination to go on with my challenging life. Have the courage to stand up to what I believe in.

'CANCER PICK THE WRONG GIRL!' I am a WARRIOR in my own special way and never give in to defeat!

I am truly humbled to say that I have witnessed the amazing power of God in my life. I want to publicly declare that God exists, and His power is undeniable.

—— You truly are an amazing and inspiring mum! Thank you for sharing your journey, strength and courage! God Bless you more mommy Jenelen!!
